Need Help With Setting Up & Managing Sellbrite?

Looking for help with Sellbrite?

Sellbrite is a great integration app to connect different eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Shopify+, BigCommerce & WooCommerce to different marketplaces such as eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Amazon, etc. Sellbrite is a venture of GoDaddy. Sellbrite’s support is based in the pacific time zone and is knowledgeable and responsive.

I use Shopify and prior to using Sellbrite, I used a couple of other integration apps including the famed CedCommerce which I don’t recommend. While CedCommerce’s first-level tech support is good, their team leaders or management lacks professionalism. Their platform of choice for support is WhatsApp and they require you to join a different chat group for each marketplace with respective team members.

Setup in Sellbrite isn’t intuitive, the learning curve is a bit steep. Here is my setup.

Sellbrite Shopify Setup

Hub & Spoke eCommerce Model

In the above setup, I use Sellbrite to connect to Etsy, Walmart, and, eBay. For Google Merchant Center and Bing setup, I already had an integration that I was happy with through SimproSys so, at this point, I did not want to move away from it. Also, I did not want to put all my eggs in one basket. If Sellbrite goes down, I don’t want to be out of business! My Facebook integration is directly through Shopify.

The beauty of the above setup through Sellbrite is that I am able to customize my pricing based on the fees for the respective platform. So, the same product is listed for a different price depending on the platform the buyer finds it on. That price adjustment is semi-automatic once set up in Sellbrite. Inventory sync as well as a description or product image changes are automatically broadcasted to the various spokes. When a product sells on one of the marketplaces or spokes, it is automatically reflected in Shopify and the other spokes meaning that the quantity is adjusted automatically.

There are quite a few nuances that need to be addressed when setting up Sellbrite. Again, while their tech support is good, they don’t offer a turn-key setup or onboarding or consulting services for small and medium-sized businesses. I would have gladly paid a modest amount to have received that assistance as it would have saved hours of trying to figure out things on my own for each of the channels or marketplaces that I eventually set up. But, on the bright side, it forced me to go through the learning curve, and now, I am able to offer the services to set Sellbrite up most efficiently for your eCommerce venture.
